Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a powder composition for beauty culture pack of occasion preparation type, avoiding decomposition of ascorbic acid by water, having improved stability, by blending an ascorbic acid-containing powder composition with a compound capable of containing wager of crystallization. CONSTITUTION:A powder composition containing ascorbic acid (vitamin C) having inhibitory action on abnormal deposition of pigment as an active component effective to the skin is blended with a compound capable of containing water of crystallization, such as anhydrous substance of glucose, lactose, citric acid or sodium citrate in an amount to prevent water vapor absorption to give a powder composition for beauty culture pack of occasion preparation type containing stabilized ascorbic acid capable of substantially avoiding decomposition of ascorbic acid. The amount of the compound capable of containing water of crystallization is 1-3pts.wt. based on 1pt.wt. ascorbic acid.
