Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform curing quickly after coating by a simple system without any amine supply tank, by adding a tert. amine as a cure accelerator to the base or the curing agent in a two-pack curing urethane paint. CONSTITUTION:0.1-40wt.%, based on the total paint, tert. amine as a catalyst is added to at least either of an isocyanate as a base or a polyol as a curing agent, and said base and said curing agent are mixed together immediately before coating. This process is advantageous in that the formed coating film can be cured at a curing rate far higher than that in the case where no tert. amine is used through the catalytic action of the tert. amine and that since the tert. amine is previously added to the base or the curing agent, a simplified system without any amine supply tank is possible.
