Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust more easily and accurately a rectangularity of a nuclear fuel assembly against the horizontal surface, by providing a base, an upper nozzle, a lower nozzle, an upper support and a lower support. CONSTITUTION:Underneath a hanging part 12, an upper support 13 is provided at an upper end of a support column 11 so as to be movable freely and vertically. An end of a chain is fixed to this upper support 13 and also the other end of the chain is fixed to an ascending and descending motor placed on an upper surface of a support cart 10 via pulleies 14 and 14 which are placed on a top of the support 11. By driving this motor, the upper support 13 moves vertically. Also, a lower end of the support column 11 is fixed without allowing any move. These supports 13 and 16 grasp the nozzles 1 and 2 of the fuel assembly, respectively, and support the nuclear fuel assembly vertically. In this manner, a rectangularity of the assembly against the horizontal surface is adjusted accurately.
