Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a superior molded product regarding the transmission and deflection of light without catching foams in by varying in two stages the casting speed of raw liquid into a frame. CONSTITUTION:Raw liquid mainly constituted of vinyl and/or vinylidene monomer containing or not containing a copolymer to be used is cast into a frame, and if necessary, the same is heated, pressed and polymerization cured. At that time, the speed of casting the raw liquid into the frame is at least varied in two stages. To put it concretely, the order of variation of casting speed should preferably be low speed - high speed. The casting line of the frame is adjusted to remain at low speed until the raw liquid is filled, and after that, the same is switched over to high speed when the raw liquid is started to come into a cavity section. In the case the shape of inside of the cavity is complicated, the variation of casting speed should preferably be further adjusted in an order of low speed - high speed - low speed.
