Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothen the surface of a metal-laminated resin plate by sequentially laminating a base material, a resin layer having a specific thickness and a metal foil in this order with resin composition as a central layer. CONSTITUTION:A central layer is formed of a resin layer 6, a base material 5, a resin layer 6 and a metal foil 4 are sequentially laminated in this order at least on one side face of the layer 6, and the layer 6 between the material 5 and the foil 4 has a thickness of 20mumm<2> or more. The base material is formed of woven cloth and nonwoven cloth made of organic synthetic fiber and natural or inorganic fiber. The resin mainly contains additive type thermosetting resin, such as phenol resin, epoxy resin, polyimide resin, additive thermoplastic resin, such as polyolefin, polyamide, polyphenylene oxide, etc. Thus, since the base material 5 adjacent to the foil 4 is not directly contacted, its surface is smooth with less uneven face to obtain a substrate adapted for forming a fine pattern.
