Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the high-speed coating of bar-shaped materials to be coated under intermittent transfer by fixing and detecting said materials to be coated in an upright state to a coating position and driving a coating box to lift the same back and forth over the prescribed length of the detaining members and the materials to be coated. CONSTITUTION:The uncoated bar-shaped materials 12 to be coated such as ski stocks and shafts for golf clubs are continuously and intermittently transferred in the upright state to the coating position by a transfer means 14. The lower part of the materials 12 to be coated is detained by detaining means 16 and the upper part is detained by a rod member 78 in the coating position.
