Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a hygrometer which discolors even with high and low humidities by combining a hygroscopic material and material which discolors with a change in humidity. CONSTITUTION:The hygrometer is formed by putting a solute 2 mixed with lithium chloride and cobalt chloride at 50:50 ratio into a container 3 formed of a film 1 which allows the permeation of steam but prohibits the permeation of the solute and transparent glass, etc., and providing a scale to the container. The solute mixed with KSCN and Co(SCN2) at 50:50 is infiltered to filter paper and is used for administrating the vegetable growth in greenhouse culture. Said paper is used for a moisture absorption and humidity marker 4 in packaging paper for food. This hygrometer is used for alarming an electrical signal or controlling humidity by combining the same with a color sensor. Humidity display is thereby enabled even if the humidity is low or high and since a marked coloration can be made even at about 40-50%, various applications such as hygrometer with an alarm, humidity marker and room interior goods are possible.
