Abstract

PURPOSE:To save the labor and time required for function tests of various automatic controllers by using the output current which is automatically changed based on a program set previously as an input current for confirmation of the function of the automatic controller. CONSTITUTION:An analog input substrate 2 to be tested and a variable resistance unit 3 are connected in parallel to the output of a DC generator 1 having a fixed output current. Then a difference current between the output current of the generator 1 and the current flowing to the unit 3 is supplied to the substrate 2. While a timing control circuit 4 and a resistance selection circuit 5 are connected to the unit 3. Then the resistance value of the unit 3 is changed in steps by both circuits 4 and 5 in terms of time based on a desired program. Thus the current flowing through the unit 3 has the time change and the current supplied to the substrate 2 also has the time change.
