Abstract

PURPOSE:To make feeding possible by simply inserting a cassette of an image forming device as it is into a feeder by constituting such that the cassette to be inserted into the image forming device can also be inserted into a cassette housing section. CONSTITUTION:In a main body 50 of a feeder are formed two, upper and lower cassette housing sections 55, 55' in which are housed cassettes 26, 27 holding paper sheets P. The cassette 26, 27 housed in the cassette housing sections 55, 55' of a multi-cassette feeder 2 are formed in the same shape with that of a cassette 25 of a laser printer 1 mounted on the multi-cassette feeder 2 except for the length. As a result, the cassettes 26, 27 of the multi-cassette feeder 2 can be inserted into the laser printer 1. And conversely, the cassette 25 of the laser printer 1 can be used by inserting it into the multi-cassette feeder 2.
