Abstract
PURPOSE:To restore a stable signal by generating a feedback signal by using plural kinds of signals obtained by plural compressing means which have different compression characteristics and restoring an original signal by using a received signal and the feedback signal. CONSTITUTION:When compressing circuits 21a and 21b which have mutually different compression characteristics are used, high-frequency component signals outputted by the compressing circuits 21a and 21b after nonlinear processing differ in level because of the different compression characteristics even if high- frequency component signals supplied from high-pass filters HPF22a and HPF22b contain similar random noises unless the levels of the random noises are large. The feedback signal is formed by using the plural kinds of signals obtained by the plural compressing means 21a and 21b and the original signal is restored by using the received signal and feedback signal. Consequently, the influence of noise components generated in transmission and reception is reduced and the original signal can be restored by the received signal more accurately.
