Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the number of callers unlimited and to use a normal telephone set by allowing an originating means to originate according to a telephone number stored in a storage means when the name, etc., of an origination destination which are listed on a screen are indicated. CONSTITUTION:The name, etc., of the desired origination destination displayed on the screen of a CRT input device 4 are indicated, a signal corresponding to them is inputted to a CRT input controller 6. The CRT input controller 6 sends out to read this signal to a central controller 8 through an interface circuit 9. The central controller 8 refers to a conversion table stored in a memory 5 to read out a telephone number corresponding to the signal, i.e. the desired name, etc., of the origination destination. Further, the central controller 8 switched a changeover switch 10 so as to connect a telephone line 1 to the side of this originating device 2. Consequently, the operation is simplified greatly and even when the number of callers is large, the display method of the CRT input device 4 is only set corresponding to the number, so the number of callers is not limited.
