Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a signal close to a luminance signal without chrominance subcarrier component by A/D-converting an input, writing the result in a memory, reading it to obtain a pseudo component signal, applying D/A conversion and FM modulation and recording the resulting signal onto a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:An FM demodulator 28 outputs the regenerating signal obtained by FM demodulating an incoming output FM regenerating signal to an A/D- converter 10 and a synchronizing signal separator 11 respectively. A signal extracted from the FM demodulator 28 is sampled by using a sampling frequency 4fsc at an A/D converter 10 and the result is A/D-converted. Since signal processing is applied to signals including jitter in the A/D converter 10 and a memory of an adjacent line inverse scanning converter 32, then no effect of jitter attended with the signal processing is given. Then a digital data is read by using a readout address generated based on a reference clock in a D/A converter 16 and an adjacent line inverse scanning converter 32 not including jitter is obtained.
