Then, the critical current density of the superconducting material is set to come to an intermediate value between the current density of the winding under the maximum operating condition of a compressor, and the current density of the winding at the time of starting. As a result, the Joule heat of the winding is hardly generated, and the motor element including the winding can be retained at a low temperature.
