Abstract

The microcomputer 7 calculates the slope of the bus voltage rise and when the slope is larger than the set value, the drop of the frequency command is deactivated. Consequently, the bus voltage continues to rise after that, but the converter 11 will not come to trip as it begins to drop before getting to an overvoltage trip value. On that account, this inverter device can perform its operation with a high reliability without tripping by overvoltage compared with a conventional inverter device.
