Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a soil stabilizing material, widely usable, having raised cement effects, dehydrating effects and strength increasing effects, containing fine powder of granulated slag of blast furnace and quick lime or slaked lime depending upon use in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The aimed soil stabilizing material containing (A) 95-30wt.% fine powder of granulated slag of blast furnace having preferably 3,000-5,000cm<2>/g and (B) 5-70% (i) quick lime in the case of high hydrous viscous and soft ground or (ii) slaked lime in the case of improvement of sandy soil and roadbed material. The slaked lime is obtained by blending Portland cement with water.
