Abstract

Then the distance between the wire 4A and plate 2A is made shorter than the distance between the wire 4A and plate 1A to perform discharging to a photosensitive drum 5A and the plate 1A, and the ion flow of a vector component is a little. Further, the wire 4A and opening 3A are shifted in edge position to evade lighting. Consequently, the lighting at the time of discharging and the scattering of toner are precluded and the photosensitive body is discharged effectively.
