〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、ローターを跨ぐコ字状のキヤリパー
部材の一端に液圧シリンダーを取り付けた構造の
キヤリパーによつて前記ローターに摩擦パツドを
挾圧するキヤリパー型デイスクブレーキにおい
て、鋼材よりなるコ字状部分とアルミ鋳物よりな
るシリンダー部とからなるデイスクブレーキ用キ

リンダーの液圧によるコ字状部分の変形が大き
く、またその変形を小さくするには肉厚を増すな
どしなければならず、重量及び経済性とも不利に
なる。一方後者の場合前者に比し、重量の絶対レ
ベルは下がるが、ヤング率が更に小さいので、そ
の分肉厚を増してやらなければならず、総じて非
常なコストアツプとなる等の欠点があつた。

溝を外周に有するアルミ鋳物よりなるシリンダー
部とからなることを特徴とするデイスクブレーキ
用キヤリパーに存するもので、鋼材よりなるコ字
状部材とアルミ鋳物よりなるシリンダー部との組
付が前者の一端に穿設した円形孔を通して行われ
ていることに特徴がある。

大きい鋼材を使用し、そのキヤリパー部材1の一
端に係止したシリンダー部5を軽量なアルミ鋳物
で構成したものである。それを更に詳述すると、
第2図に示す如く先ず、コ字状のキヤリパー部材
1を板金で形成し、そのキヤリパー部材1の一端
にシリンダ係止用孔3とその孔3の両側の張り出
し部1′にキヤリパースライドピン保持用孔4と
を夫々穿設し、前記孔3に係止するようにアルミ
鋳物でシリンダー部5を鋳込み、前記コ字状部材

きる。また本発明ではコ字状のキヤリパー部材1
とシリンダー部5とは鋼材製のキヤリパー部材に
対してアルミ溶湯をシリンダー部として鋳込むこ
とで前者の円形孔3と後者の環状溝3′の組合せ
によつて組付けられているため、シリンダー部5
がブレーキ時に脱落するようなおそれはなく、し
かもその構造が簡単で部品点数も少なくて済み、
また従来品のように複雑な鋳型を必要とせず、加
工面でのコストを低下させることができる等実用
性が極めて大きいデイスクブレーキ用キヤリパー
である。

キヤリパー型デイスクブレーキにおいて、鋼材よ
りなるコ字状部分とアルミ鋳物よりなるシリンダ
ー部とを鋼材製のコ字状部に対してアルミ溶湯を
シリンダー部として鋳込むことにより該コ字状部
分の一端に穿設された円形孔にシリンダー外周部
の環状溝を嵌合せしめたことを特徴とするデイス
クブレーキ用キヤリパー。 2 コ字状部材の一端に穿設された円形孔の両側
の張り出し部に夫々キヤリパースライドピン保持
用孔を穿設しかつ該コ字状部材の他端に切欠を設
けたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載
