Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The steel contg., by weight %, 0.03-0.25 C, 0.01-0.5 Si, 0.5-1.8 Mn, 0.005-0.1 Al, and 0.001-0.010 N, contg. >=1 kinds among respectively <=0.05 Nb, Ti and V, respectively <=0.5 Cu and Mo, <=1.5 Ni, <=1.0 Cr, and <=0.002 B, and consisting of the balance Fe is used. The rolling of this steel is started at <=900 deg.C without cooling the steel after casting or heating the cold ingot to the AC3 point or above. The steel is thus subjected to the rolling at <=10% max. draft and within 15sec longest pass time per pass. The steel plate is rested or held for 100-1,000sec after the end of the rolling and is then subjected to the accelerated cooling.
