Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a high-pressure discharge pressure to be generated by constituting each of a plurality of pump groups constituting a reciprocating pump device by a plurality of pump chambers each of which is juxtaposed on the same straight line, and a common stepped plunger having been fitted in respective pump chambers, or the like. CONSTITUTION:In a reciprocating pump device in which a plurality of pump groups 10a are juxtaposed, each pump group 10a has pump chambers 12a-12c arranged on the same straight line, and is constituted by fitting plunger parts 18a-18c having steppedly reduced diameters, which constitute a plunger member 14 and are reciprocated by a crankshaft 16, in respective pump chambers 12a-12c. On the suction and discharge sides of respective pump chambers 12a-12c, respective suction valves 28a-28c and discharge valve 30a-30c are arranged. Further, the downstream side of the discharge valve 30a and the upstream side of the suction valve 28b are communicated by a communicating part 32a, and also the downstream side of the discharge valve 30b and the upstream side of the suction valve 28c are communicated by a communicating part 32b respectively, and a discharge port 34 is provided on the downstream side of the discharge valve 30c.
