CONSTITUTION:A delay circuit 1 delays a reset signal outputted from the microprocessor by a fixed time, outputs the delayed signal and sets up a flip flop (FF) circuit 3 and a restart allowing signal for the microprocessor is outputted from the FF circuit 3. When an abnormality detecting signal is not generated within the fixed time after resetting the microprocessor, a logical circuit 6 forms a microprocessor restart allowing condition, and when the abnormal detecting signal is generated within the fixed period, stops the microprocessor. Consequently, the operation rate of the microprocessor can be improved.
