Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a working time by receiving an image processing command and applying previously set prescribed image processing operation to data stored in an image memory. CONSTITUTION:An image to be recorded is selected from photographed images by a medical image diagnosing device arranged on the side of a host 20, sent and stored in an image memory 2 as image data. The stored data are read out from the memory 2 and recorded in a recording medium 10 by means of prescribed drawing operation. When an image processing command is applied by using a command means in a picture recorder, an image processing means applies the previously set prescribed image processing operation to the data read out from the memory 2. When contrast emphasizing processing is previously set up, processing capable of understanding the detailed part of a vein or the like is executed and the processed image is recorded in the recording medium 10, so that two kinds of images having different processing can be obtained from the same original image data. Consequently, the occupying time of the host side for image transfer can be reduced into a half.
