Abstract

PURPOSE:To upgrade water-proof performance and endurability without an increase in a shape of a connector by using rubber or elastomer to unite and mold a core line, which serves as an air vent channel, and an end part of a lead conductor with an outer braid. CONSTITUTION:A core line 31 of a lead conductor 3 is formed to serve as an air vent channel and its outside is provided with a braided earth wire 35 made of metallic thin lines. One end of the lead conductor 3 is connected with an air-fuel sensor or the like, and the other end is connected with a water-proof connector 1. The end part of the lead conductor 3 is separated into a core line 31A and a braided earth line 35A, and rubber or elastomer is used to unite and mold their respective tip parts so as to form protruding parts 42, 43 small in diameter. The protruding parts 42, 43 of the molded members are made to engage with recessed parts 22, 33 of a water-proof connector housing respectively. Hence, connection of the lead conductor 3 is performed with water-proof performance and endurability being upgraded.
