Abstract

PURPOSE: To complete washing with certainty by moving a ball from the joint section of a liquid beverage discharge pipe to a storage section in conjunction with the closing lever of a discharge valve. CONSTITUTION: A washing device comprises a storage tank for liquid beverage, joint sections for a piping 4 and a liquid beverage exhaust pipe 8, and a discharge on/off block 10, as an exhaust valve 2. When liquid beverage starts to discharge, a ball 5 of a diameter shorter than the inside diameter of the piping 4 is positioned in a pool section 6. A discharge on/off block 10 is moved in an arrow direction A1 by the opening operation of a lever 11 of the exhaust valve 2 to set a feedthrough condition between the ball pool section 6 and the exhaust pipe 8. When liquid beverage is discharged into the exhaust pipe 8, the ball 5 runs in the piping 4 and is positioned in the discharge on/off block 10. Operating the lever 11 to stop the discharge of liquid beverage moves the discharge on/off block 10 together with the ball 5 in an arrow direction A2. The ball 5 drops into the pool section 6. When the ball 5 runs in the piping 4, the inside of the piping is cleaned.
