- Treatment Of Liquids With Adsorbents In General (AREA)
Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate the aimed component at high concn. by using two kinds of eluents consisting of two groups which are different in adsorptive power in a three-zone type pseudo moving bed. CONSTITUTION:Raw liquid contg. a mixture of amino acid, etc., is introduced into a bed C1 via a rotary value. Component A contained in raw liquid is selectively adsorbed to an adsorbent and component B is not adsorbed and carried out as raffinate liquid. A first eluent having strong elution properties for component A is introduced into a bed C5 via the rotary valve. Product liquid contg. a large amount of component A is carried out from the bed C5. A second eluent having the same component as the solvent in the raw liquid is introduced into a bed C9. After a certain period of time elapses, the rotary valve is rotated corresponding to one bed only and the liquid supplied to a bed is successively moved down so that the raw liquid is introduced into a bed C2 and raffinate liquid is discharged from the bed C5. Therefore the product liquid contg. high concn. of component A can be continuously taken out by this pseudo moving bed.
