Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically suitably clean the inside of an inlet nozzle, by providing a brush for cleaning the inlet nozzle such that said brush integratedly moves with the movement of a float which is floating on the surface of a liquid in a prefiltering tank. CONSTITUTION:A liquid in a prefiltering tank 1 flows through an inlet nozzle 6, an inlet tube 7, a transition tube 5 and an outlet tube 11 into a tank 2 for exposure to air, so that the water level in the tank 1 is normally kept stable between A and B. However, if the inlet nozzle 6 is clogged or when washings etc. are discharged at a time, the water level in the prefiltering tank 1 increases rapidly. For example, where the water level has changed to between C and D, the liquid in the tank 1 flows through a by-pass tube 10 into the tank 2 for exposure to air. At this time, a float 12 floating on the surface of the liquid in the tank 1 ascends and descends with the change in the liquid surface level, whereby a brush 14 of a shaft 13 attached to this float 12 moves while rubbing the inner surface of the inlet nozzle 6. As a result, the inner wall surface of the inlet nozzle 6 is suitably cleaned by this brush 14, thereby preventing the clogging of the inlet nozzle 6 from occurring.
