Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in stability and heat resis tance during molding, by adding an antioxidant combination comprising bis[2,2'- methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)] terephthalate and a specified organo phosphorus stabilizer to a polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin (A) is compounded with an antioxidant (B) compris ing 0.005-0.5wt.% bis[2,2'-methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)] terephtha late (a) and an organophosphorus stabilizer (b) of a structural formula of I, II or III [wherein R' is a 1-24C alkyl, an alkylphenyl, R'' is a 1-30C alkylene, an (alkyl)biphenyl, and R is H or a 1-12C alkyl] and, optionally, a sulfur stabilizer (C) such as dilauryl thiodipropionate, a light stabilizer (D) such as 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, etc.
