Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a bound fiber-fill product having improved springiness and loft recovery by using a specific polymer emulsion as a binder for fiber fill. CONSTITUTION: A first polymer emulsion is prepared, a second monomer emulsion is mixed with the first polymer emulsion, the obtained emulsion mixture is equilibrated, and further this emulsion mixture is made to polymerize. Thus obtained polymer emulsion contains a first polymer network which is intertwined on a molecular scale with a second polymer network.
