段と、前記各検出手段からの信号に基づき、供給
混合気の空燃比を比較的低負荷の第1の運転領域
では排気酸素濃度に応じてフイードバツク制御す
るとともに比較的高負荷の第2の運転領域ではオ
ープンループ制御する空燃比制御手段とを備えた
内燃機関において、前記第1の運転領域から第2
の運転領域に移行したときの空燃比を酸素濃度信
号に基づいて判定する過渡空燃比判定手段と、そ
の判定結果に基づき空燃比過大時に混合気を濃化
補正する過渡空燃比補正手段とを設けたこと特徴
