PURPOSE:To enhance straight line stability and operational stability at the time of high speed travelling by forming a breaker with organic fiber cord having a specific tensile elastic modulus and setting the wall thickness of a tread portion in such a way as to be maximum in the center area, minimum in the both end area, and tapered in the intermediate area therebetween. CONSTITUTION:There is formed a breaker 7 of organ fiber cord which is arranged at a cord angle 10-30 deg. radially outside a carcass 5 and whose tensile elastic modulus is 250-400kg/mm<2>. The wall thickness (a) in an area A which is 25-45% of the width of a tread 2 is the thickest and the wall thickness (b) in a tread end portion area E which is 10-20% of the width of the tread is the thinnest, and (b)/(a) is set to be 0.4-0.8. An area B between the area A and E is formed into taper shape which connects the wall thickness (a) to (b), in such a way to diminish gradually. With this construction, straight line stability and operational stability at the time of high speed travelling can be enhanced.
