Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent excessive oversteering by outputting an instruction, steering a rear wheel in a direction of the same phase to a front wheel by a rear wheel steering actuator when driving power is distributed more to a turning outer wheel than to a turning inner wheel, to a steering control unit. CONSTITUTION:A controller 33, which outputs a drive signal to a rear wheel steering control valve 31 and to a differential limiting control valve 32, concurrently performs a four-wheel steering control, differential limiting force control and an integrated control, and this controller inputs signals from a steering angle sensor 34 and from wheel speed sensors 35-38 of right and left front and rear wheels. The controller utilizes a steering angle from the steering angle sensor 34 as the input information for the four-wheel steering control, wheel speed from the right and left front wheel speed sensors 35, 36 as the input information for the differential limiting force control while a wheel speed from the right and left rear wheel speed sensors 37, 38 for discriminating the inner and outer wheels in the time of turning and for detecting driving power distributed to the inner and outer wheels. Being based on the signal from each sensor, outputting a steering instruction of the front and rear wheels in accordance with a running condition, an actuator 29 and a differential limiting clutch 26 are actuated.
