Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound (salt) expressed by formula [X is alanyl, leucyl, isoleucyl, valyl or (protected)lisyl; R is urethane type amino protecting group, provided that when X is lisyl, R is H]. USE:A substrate for measuring oxygen and reagent for measuring blood coagulation factor Xa. PREPARATION:For example, 4-morpholinoaniline is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula Z-Arg-OH (Z is benzyloxycarbonyl) in the presence of a condensing agent such as carbodiimides and the resultant product is treated with palladium carbon to remove a protecting group. Then the treated compound is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula Z-D-Lys(epsilon-For)-Gly (For is formyl) in the presence of a condensing agent and then the reaction product is treated with palladium carbon and alpha-amino protecting group is removed to provide the compound expressed by the formula.
