Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of electric wires for connection and simplify wirings for assembly by connecting a terminal of a single-base fluorescent lamp to the power input terminal of the socket body, inserting lighting tube terminals of a lighting tube socket to which a lighting tube is fitted, into a hole of the socket body, and by connecting it to the lighting tube connecting terminal. CONSTITUTION:Terminals 17-20 are connected to power input terminals 21-24 through fitting of the base 3 of a single-base fluorescent lamp 2 in the fit part 4. Lighting tube terminals 13, 14 are inserted in a hole 25 and connected with lighting tube connecting terminals 26, 27 situated inside, and a lighting tube socket 5 is fixed in a recess 6. Thereby a lighting tube 11 is connected with one pole of each filament 15, 16 via the terminals, wherein no electric wires are required to be used. One of the electric wires 29 connected with the power input terminals 17, 19 is connected with one pole of the power supply via a stabilizer, while the other electric wire 30 with the other pole of the power supply. Therefore, necessary wiring is completed only by connecting two wires 29, 30 to the power supply per single-base fluorescent lamp 2. Thus wiring operations are much simplified.
