Abstract

PURPOSE:To strengthen the base of the plate member of a joint and to make its connection sure by a method in which in order to connect a pipe to the structure of a frame work by the leading-end composite material-joint having a plurality of plate members and protrusions, the plate members and the protrusions are nipped by the clips of two kinds, and they are connected mutually in such a state. CONSTITUTION:Plate members 20-22 are radially arranged around the connecting part 19 of a joint 16, and the protrusions 23 forming other connecting parts are formed on said plate members. Clips 17, 18 are also made of a leading-end composite material. The first clip 17 has the cylindrical shape with an almost rectangular cross section. Curved adhering parts 17a, 17b are formed on the surface opposite to the connecting part 19 and the inner wall of a pipe 15. The second clip 18 is formed into almost a semicircular shape correspondingly to the outer diameter of pipes 11-14, and a gap 18a is formed in a curved part. The slits 10a of a pipe 10 are fitted on the plate members 20-22 and adhere thereto. Next, the clips 17 nip the plate members 20-22 and adhere to the adhering surface 17a, and then the pipe 15 is fitted onto the adhering surface 17b and adheres thereto. After the pipe 11-14 have stuck two clips to the slits 11a-14a, they adhere to the plate members 20-22 and protrusions 23 by way of said clips.
