Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure inversion with a simple structure in the inverting device for bolts, etc. by providing a rotary bed with a workpiece handling mechanism which is rotated around an axis perpendicular to a conveying direction in between the final end of a feeding side conveying passage and the starting end of a delivering side conveying passage. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece is conveyed with its head downward via the slot 15a of a feeding side conveying passage 15 as shown by the arrow A. And, the workpiece is received by the branching part 8b of the workpiece retainer 8 of a rotary bed 10. At this time, a feeding side sensor 5 is operated to rotate the rotary bed 10. Thereby, the end part 8a of the workpiece retainer 8 is subjected to the action of a guide edge 13a and delivers the workpiece to the slot 10a of the rotary bed 10 while inverting the workpiece upside down. And, as the workpiece is 180 deg. inverted, the workpiece retainer 8 is subjected to the action of a delivering side plate 14 to deliver the workpiece to the slot 16a of a delivering side conveying passage 16.
