Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive tape easily cuttable along a straight line without using a cutter, etc., and having arbitrarily adjustable adhesive strength, by laminating an adhesive layer to the inner face of a wound tape main body, laminating a releasing layer to the outer face and including a uniaxially drawn film in the main body. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive tape is composed of a tape main body 11 wound in longitudinal direction, an adhesive layer 15 laminated to the inner surface of said main body and a releasing layer 16 laminated to the outer surface of the mainly body and effective in preventing the adhesion of the main body with each other. The main body 11 contains uniaxially drawn films 13, 14 drawn in lateral direction and effective in facilitating the tearing of the tape main body in lateral direction. The drawn film is preferably made of a synthetic polymer film having lower softening point than the adhesive layer and the tape main body.
