Abstract

PURPOSE:To make data accurate by forming the periphery of a collimator array body as a flat surface and fitting a detecting element block, securing a contact area sufficiently, and fitting the detecting element block oppositely to the focus of an X-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:Flat surfaces 13 are formed continuously on the peripheral surfaces of a couple of frame bodies 9a and 9b which constitute the collimator array body 8. Detecting element blocks 11 are fitted to the respective flat surfaces 13 with screws, etc. Then grooves are formed oppositely to the frame bodies 9a and 9b and collimator plates 10 are inserted and fixed in the grooves to assemble the array body 8. The contact area between the array body 8 and blocks 11 is secured, the fitting of the blocks 11 facing the focus of an X-ray tube is facilitated, and a scattered X ray is inhibited from being detected, thereby obtaining accurate data.
