Abstract

PURPOSE:To erase ground clutter moving while gradually changing in its shape, by storing an input echo signal to compare the same with the succeeding echo signal to alter a sampling point row corresponding to timewise shift and erasing a fixed target from the signal corrected in shift. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic wave reflected from the interior of an object to be examined is received by a probe 4 and the receiving signal is phased and added in a receiving beam former 5. The output signal of a band filter 6 is brought to a signal having an almost flat level by a variable mu-factor amplifier 7 and converted to a digital signal by an AD converter 9 to be inputted to an echo data file 10 and stored in separation into small sections. An echo signal 20 and a data of time shift 24 are inputted to a DSP 11 and one data sampling point is moved on the basis of the time shift 4 while interpolated before and behind so that a time width coincides and corrected. After correction, MTI processing is performed in the DSP 11 to erase ground clutter between respective times. The echo signal is inputted to a DSC 14 to be converted to a television format signal which is, in turn, sent to a display apparatus.
