Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the spot image response function at each point on a reconstituted image, by using weighting coefficient when an image is reconstituted by the correlational calculation of detection signal data and reference signal data. CONSTITUTION:Weighting coefficients different at every points on a reconstituted image are predetermined on the basis of the spot image response function of the reconstituted image, the command condition to an S/N ratio and the non-uniformity of a static magnetic field and the correlation of reference signal data and detection signal data are calculated on the basis of the weighting due to the weighting coefficients. Further, the nuclear magnetic resonance signal generated from an object to be examined is detected while an inclined magnetic field timewise varying according to a predetermined pattern is applied and the correlation of said detected signal with the reference signal determined by the arbitrary position and speed in a region to be examined and the variable pattern of the inclined magnetic field is calculated to calculate spin density having a position and a speed. By this method, the spot image response function or S/N ratio of the reconstituted image is flexibly altered corresponding to the characteristic of an apparatus or the request of user to obtain an image having high image quality, and a position and a speed can be imaged simultaneously within a short measuring time.
