Abstract

PURPOSE:To change the sensitivity of an FM tuner part without lowering the sensitivity of an AM tuner part and to suppress an IM disturbance by connecting a pin diode between an antenna and the FM tuner part. CONSTITUTION:When an AM is received, since a direct current is not supplied to a terminal T1, a pin diode 3 goes to an offcondition regardless of the opening and closing of a changingover switch 5. Accordingly, the AM wave, which is received by an antenna 1, is made thoroughly to flow to an AM tuner part 2. On the other hand, when an FM is received, the direct current is supplied to the terminal T1 and when the changing-over switch 5 is closed, the direct current is made to flow to an arror B direction. At such a time, the high frequency resistance of the diode 3 is decreased and the FM wave, which is received by the antenna 1, is flown to an FM tuner part 4. However, in the area of the strong FM electric wave, the switch 5 is closed and the input sensitivity is attenuated by selecting a LOCAL. Then, the IM interruption is suppressed.
