Abstract

PURPOSE:To embed a dental implant in a jawbone without directly contacting a hand therewith, by providing the post part engaging with the post hole of the dental implant and the knob part connected to the head part of the post part. CONSTITUTION:A holding member 10 consists of the conical trapezoidal post part 11 engaging with the post hole 21 of an implant 20, a 'knob part' 13 picked up by a hand, a pincette or other tool and the connection part 12 for connecting both of them in a slightly separated state. By engaging the post part 11 with the post hole 21 of the implant 20, said post part 11 is temporarily integrated with the implant and there is the knob part 13 and, therefore, by picking up the knob part 13 by a hand, the pincette or other tool, the implant can be subjected to transfer, implantation or other handling (treatment) without directly contacting a hand with the implant and, at a necessary time, for example, after implantation, the implant can be separated by pulling off the post part from the post hole.
