The control sections 12a-12d receive signals from the general conveyance control section 11, sensors 14ai-14di for confirming passage and existence of the carrier 3 in the control zone and sensors 15a-15d for detecting the car number of the carrier 3, and grasping the position and the car number of the carrier 3 in its control zone so as to control drive controllers 13a-13d. The confirmed car number of carrier is provided to the general conveyance control section 11.
