Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve highly accurate high speed positioning, by forming a positioning control system only with a position feedback system and combining a DC brake system for AC motor. CONSTITUTION:When a flux control system voltage type inverter is employed, output from a frequency setter 1 is fed to an acceleration/deceleration time adjuster 2 which provides a setting value for stator flux of an operating induction motor 8. Difference between setting flux and an actual value is fed to a flux regulator 5 from where it is fed to a PWM inverter 6 the output voltage therefrom is controlled such that the stator flux of a motor 8 equals to the setting flux. A sequence processing section 14 receives a fixed position stop mode command from a contact 11, an output from a time adjuster 2 and the like, and outputs a predetermined sequence signal. Deceleration control having optimal time characteristic is made in proper steps for every specific value of position difference under high speed transition area, while deceleration is made through position difference proportional control with the difference proportional amount being employed as a target frequency in a position accuracy section.
