Abstract
PURPOSE:To vary steering ratio of rear wheel randomly by interlocking a control lever having an arched groove with front wheel steering and rolling, then providing a partial gear to a rear wheel steering member having one end engaged with the arched groove and engaging with a gear driven through a motor. CONSTITUTION:A tie rod 5 is displaced by rotation of a steering shaft 12 through a pinion rack mechanism 12b so as to steer a front wheel 2. In such system, an input link 13 is interlocked with steering of the front wheel 2 and driven through a bell crank 7 and a rod 9. Rear end of the input link 13 is pivoted to the tip of a control lever 15 pivoted through a shaft 16 to the body, and the front end of an output link 18 is coupled with a sliding pin 14 engagable with an arched groove in the control level 15 while the rear end of the output link 18 is coupled with a rear wheel steering member 21. A partial gear 18a is formed at the circumferential section of a pin 17 of the output link 18, and engaged with a gear 66 supported on a sliding frame 57 coupled with the rear wheel steering member 21.
