Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently treat the oily waste by introducing the oily waste produced in a vessel into a separator and separating the oil portion and introducing the residue into an agitator, together with the powdered drying agent, and mixing them. CONSTITUTION:The oily waste having a high water content such as sludge, drain bildge which are produced in a vessel is collected and introduced into a centrifugal separator, and oil portion is separated. The residue after oil separation is introduced into an agitator, together with a powdered drying agent and sufficiently stirred and mixed. Then, the residue generates a chemical reaction with the powdered drying agent in the agitator, and dry powder is obtained. The dry powdered residue is temporarily stored in the tank of a vessel, and landed on call at a port, and burnt in a burning furnace. Therefore, the oily waste formed in the vessel can be burning-treated economically with a small quantity of labor.
