Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the wasteful use of plastic film sheets by installing a film cut and bond device in such manner that the cut and bond position can be adjusted according to the size of the outer diameter of a spool. CONSTITUTION:A plastic film sheet 32 can be cut fusion bonded in a close contact with a spool 1, since both heads 36 of a film cut and bond device 4 are located in a pre-selected position in the direction of the extension from a conveyor device 2. In a case where a detection light from only a photoelectric tube sensor 49b is intercepted by the spool 1 supported by a tray 5 at a location B (when the outside diameter of the spool 1 is small), a movable bracket 34 is so positioned as to locate an attachment 48 at the location of the photoelectric tube sensor 46b by operating a motor 44, whereby both heads 36 are located in a suitable position for packaging the spool 1 of a smaller outside diameter. Also, in a case where the detection light both photoelectric tube sensor 49a is intercepted by the spool 1 supported by a tray 5 at a location B (when the outside diameter of the spool 1 is larger), both heads 36 are likewise located in a suitable position for packaging the spool 1 of a larger outside diameter.
