Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance vacuum absorbing capacity and to almost uniformly generate deformation over the total periphery, by constituting the vacuum absorbing part of the body part of a bottle of panel surfaces each composed of a curved surface curved to the outside of the bottle in its transverse section, the groove- like ribs continuing to the panel surfaces and recessed parts depressed to the inside of the bottle and having a bow-shaped cross section in the longitudinal direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum absorbing part 22 definite length region of the body part of a bottle consists of a plurality of panel surfaces 23 each composed of a curved surface curved to the outside of the bottle in its transverse section, groove-like ribs 24, 25 continuing to the panel surfaces and a plurality of recessed parts 27 continuing to the panel surfaces 23 through transfer parts 26 and depressed to the inside of the bottle and having a bow-shaped cross-section in the longitudinal direction thereof. Herein, the panel surfaces 23 coincide with the extrapolation surface 28 of the max. diameter of the bottle or almost coincide therewith. All of the elements of the panel surfaces, the groove-like ribs, the transfer parts and the recessed parts displace to absorb vacuum.
