PURPOSE:To render a cyan dye hardly convertible into a leuco type and to restrict occurrence of cyan stains by color developing a specified silver halide color photographic sensitive material and desilvering it with a processing solution containing a specified ferric complex salt. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing one of the compounds represented by formula I is color developed, after imagewise exposure, and desilvered with a processing solution containing the ferrite complex salt of at least one of the compounds represented by formulae II and III. In these formulae, R1 is -CONR4R5, etc.; R2 is a monovalent group; R3 is a substituent; X is a group releasable by reaction with H, etc.; lis 0 or 1; m is 0, 1, 2, or 3; each of R4 and R5 is H, etc.; R6 is aryl or the like; R7 is aryl; L is alkylene, etc.; each of L1-L7 is alkylene; and each of R11-R17 is H, etc.
