Claims (1)
- 降雨量検出手段により検出された降雨量に基づ
き自動的にワイパの作動モードを決定してワイパ
制御を行う車両用ワイパ制御装置において、検出
された降雨量と予め設定された上限および下限の
基準値とを比較する第１の比較手段と、ワイパの
間欠作動時に前回行つたワイパ払拭からの経過時
間を計測すると共にこの経過時間を最新の過去複
数回分の間欠時間の平均値と比較する第２の比較
手段と、降雨量が予め設定された下限の基準値以
上であつて前回行つたワイパ払拭からの経過時間
が前記間欠時間の平均値を超えたときにワイパ払
拭を行うと共に、平均値を超えない場合であつて
も検出された降雨量が予め設定された上限の基準
値を超えたときにワイパを払拭させ、降雨量が下
限の基準値以下のときにはワイパ動作を停止させ
るワイパ制御手段と、前記間欠時間の平均値が所
定値より短い場合はワイパ動作を連続モードに切
り替えるモード切替え手段と、を備えたことを特
徴とする車両用ワイパ制御装置。
