Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cosmetic by mixing ethanol with a powdery cosmetic base composed of a powder for cosmetic, an ethanol-insoluble lubricant selected from hydrocarbon oils and silicone oils and a surfactant and filling the resultant slurry in a container. CONSTITUTION:The titled cosmetic having excellent impact resistance is produced by mixing ethanol with a powdery cosmetic base composed of 75-95wt.%of powder for cosmetic (e.g. talc, titanium oxide or nylon powder), 5-20wt.% of an ethanol-insoluble lubricant selected from hydrocarbon oils and silicone oils (e.g. liquid paraffin or dimethylpolysiloxane) and <=5wt.% of a surfactant (e.g. sorbitan sesquioleate), filling the obtained slurry in a container and removing ethanol e.g. by spontaneous drying. The cosmetic has extremely excellent molded state, is free from caking property, keeps excellent application feeling until the cosmetic is completely consumed and is resistant to cracking and falling-off.
