Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an agricultural chemical composition containing,6- dimethyl-2-[1-(0-tolyl)-1-ethylidenehydrazino]pyrimidine, an organic phosphorus compound and boron oxide (complex) and exhibiting high activity against rice blast and insecticidal effect even after storage over a long period.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains (A) the compound of formula or its salt useful as an excellent agricultural fungicide exhibiting strong fungicidal activity against a wide variety of phytopathogens such as pathogens of rice blast, helminthosporium leaf blight, etc., (B) an organic phosphorus compound, preferably dimethylphosphoric acid compound, especially O,O-dimethylphosphoro(thiolo)thionate compound and (C) boron oxide or a complex of boron oxide (e.g. B2O3-Al2O3 or B2O3-TiO2). The weight ratio of B:A is 2:1W1:5, especially 2:1W1:2 and that of C:A is 20:1W1:10, especially 10:1W1:4.
